Have you thought about starting your own digital download website but couldn't find a good, dependable script that would actually work? There are many out there, some cheap and some very expensive. I haven't tried out the expensive ones for fear of them not working and losing my money.
Well, I have a generic store script that WORKS. I'm using it right now on two different sites. There are actually a lot of people selling this script, but the one they are selling does not work. First of all, it had a bug in it that kept you from using an apostrophe in your item descriptions. This meant that when adding a product, you always had to strip all apostrophes from your item description. This was a big inconvenience to say the least.
Secondly, the script had a problem where when someone ordered an item, the download link was not sent to their email. A digital download store is worthless if it won't even do this.
The good news is that I fixed these problems and now the script works great and has been tested dozens of times and has received successful real orders.
Here are a few features of the script:
-Easy admin panel for adding as many categories and products as you want and easily edit all site settings
-Sell any downloadable product - ebooks, manuals, music or sound files, stock photos, anything!
-Site has newsletter feature that your visitors just enter their email address to join
-Rotating banner feature to add your own unlimited banners or sell banner ad space
-Text links. Add your own links or sell links
-Preview/demo button to show a sample of your product
-Script adds a long file name to your product file and demo file to help prevent theft of your product
-Full shopping cart with add to cart, view cart, update cart, continue shopping and checkout
-Accept PayPal. Simply enter your PayPal email in the admin settings
-Many more features

Requirements:
A domain or sub-domain
You must set up a MYsql database
FTP
The script is very easy to set up if you know how to use FTP and upload the files to your host server. Script has an install file.
Even though the script is very simple to install and set up, certain basic computer skills are needed to install your store and get it up and running. I understand that there are some people who would still be lost, so I offer custom installation for $30 if needed. This covers complete installation and getting your site completely ready for you to log in and start adding products. You really need to have a domain name hosted with a hosting company that has Cpanel control. Most major hosting companies have this. I do not recommend godaddy.com. If you need to register a domain, I highly recommend namecheap.com and for hosting, I highly recommend Host Gator. I use both and am used to using them, so if you also use them, I will be able to help you more.
I have a working demo at edownloadstore.com/demo. This is what your site will look like and there are test products so you can easily test the store and how it works. If you have html knowledge, there is no limit to how you can customize the look of your site as I have. Google Adsense ads can be added to your site. If needed, I can also register your domain for you and even host your site.

When purchasing, your script will be sent to your email and will be zipped.
